How Menbru looks

Choose a theme and how the sidebar behaves. Both are kept on this device for every page and tab, and both apply the moment you pick them.

Theme

Light, dark, or whatever your device is set to.

Theme

System is where you start and follows your device, even when it switches at night. Picking light or dark overrides it.

LightLight backgrounds and dark text.DarkDark backgrounds and light text.SystemFollows your device's setting and changes with it.

The sun and moon button in the sidebar and in the menu flips between light and dark. It changes this same setting, so the two always agree.

Kept on this device only. It is not saved to your account, so another device keeps its own.

Sidebar

How the column on the left behaves.

Sidebar

Applies when your window is at least 1180 pixels wide. On a narrower screen the menu opens as a sheet and this choice waits.

AutomaticA slim rail that opens when you point at it or tab into it, and closes when you leave.Pinned openThe full column stays open.Locked closedThe rail stays closed. The menu button opens it when you ask for it.

Kept on this device only, like the theme. The button at the foot of the sidebar changes this same setting.
