Our mission
Menbru connects visitors and locals to the businesses of Jackson Hole, and gives those businesses a public profile and a way to reach the people already here.

The value cycle is discovery, interaction, Claim, Wallet, Redemption and return: someone finds a Business, follows or reads about it, claims a Coupon or notices an Event, keeps it in one place, and redeems it in person.

What makes us different
Three things the platform is built around.
Discovery that leads somewhere
Finding a Business is where the cycle starts, not where it ends. Its Offers and Coupons can be claimed, kept in a Wallet and redeemed in person, so interest can turn into a visit.
Businesses that are verified
Only a Business that Menbru has approved appears publicly. Before it does, Menbru checks who runs it, that it really exists and where it is.
Benefits checked at the counter
A Coupon is claimed, kept in your Wallet and redeemed in person. The Business scans it, the server checks it, and one Claim can be redeemed only once.
Boundaries
What Menbru is not
Menbru is not a marketplace, a checkout, a point of sale or a real-time inventory system. It does not process payments between Members and Businesses.
Menbru does not take on:
- bookings handled on Menbru, for hotels or restaurants
- food orders
- delivery or logistics
- ticket sales
- inventory, availability or order management
- payments for what a Business sells
A Business keeps its own way of taking payment and managing its stock; Menbru is the layer that makes it discoverable and makes its benefits claimable.
Behind the platform
Who runs it
Menbru is still being built, so this page says what is decided, not what is finished.
Its day-to-day operation is divided by responsibility. Partner verification checks who runs a Business and that it exists; Support looks after accounts, Claims and Redemptions; Trust and Safety handles abuse, fraud and Reviews; and Editorial looks after the tourism content, the calendar and the events of Jackson Hole.
Every verification decision is recorded with who made it, what they reviewed and why.

Our vision
Menbru connects local Businesses with residents and visitors, and gives the Partners behind those Businesses the tools to manage, promote and measure their presence in the local market.

Menbru starts in one place and is built to reach others:
- Start with the whole Jackson Hole corridor: the Town of Jackson, Teton Village, Wilson and Moose, with South Park and Hoback Junction where they belong to the same ecosystem
- Built from the start for more than one market, although only Jackson Hole is open today, so another destination can be added without significant structural changes
